IWQOL-Lite-CT was developed to meet the developmental rigor required by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to support product labeling. FDA qualification for the IWQOL-Lite-CT is being sought for use in clinical trials to support product-labeling claims in new obesity treatments, including medications.

Dr. Ronette Kolotkin is a research and practicing psychologist who focuses on understanding, measuring, and optimizing health-related quality of life. She consults with pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions and other organizations on measurement and interpretation of quality-of-life assessments in pharmaceutical and healthcare research, and in the development of products or services.
