Trump Will Create New Winners and Losers in Healthcare 

With Trump’s victory in the election, healthcare companies could expect some changes in 2025 and beyond. For firms offering plans through the Affordable Care Act and Medicare, the outcome may not look so favorable. For firms operating in the private sector through Medicare Advantage, they could expect an increase in benefits. As the election results have come in, some stocks, like Oscar Health, have seen a noticeable drop while others, like UnitedHealthGroup, saw an increase as investors bet big on the private sector.

It could take some time for any real impacts to emerge but when the climate begins to shift as Trump’s policy plans begin to develop, the industry could see some very abrupt changes.
